What is the period of recurrence?

The recurrence period is the period in which all actions performed by a user directed by an affiliate to the advertiser’s site are commissioned by that affiliate. It is a parameter of the advertisers’ campaigns attached to the user, which is being (re)activated upon every click made by a user on a promotional tool displayed by the affiliates. Only the last affiliate who directed the user to the advertiser’s site will receive a commission for the actions made by the user.

Example: A “per sale” campaign with a recurrence period of three months. An affiliate displays a banner belonging to an advertiser. A user clicks on that banner and is directed to the advertiser’s site. All orders placed by that user on the following three months on the advertiser’s site will be commissioned by the affiliate. If after one month (for example) he clicks again on a promotional tool (it may be the same banner) of the same advertiser, the period of recurrence is reactivated and it becomes three months.
