Besides big projects that our team is working on, which we have announced and will an announce on a regulare basis, we implement smaller tweaks and upgrades to make user flow easier for a faster collaboration.

Our developement is a great one. They listen to users’ needs and try to improve the 2Performant platform and affiliate marketing for everybody.

Here are some upgrades that we’ve been working on and we’ve launched this couple of weeks:

For affiliates

• Are you having problems generating affiliate links with the awesome 2Performant bookmarklet tool?

We got some security upgrades implemented so everything can run smooth and without interruptions from unwanted parties. Please grab the bookmarklet again from your 2Performant account and the problems will disappear. Here is a short tutorial showing you how you can grab the bookmarklet and how to use it:

• You know how you got those bland emails that inform you of new commissions?

Now they’re much, much better and more informative. Starting from yesterday, we’ve upgraded them and we’ll send you, through subject notification: commission ID, value of the commission and the affiliate program where generated the commission.

• You know how you got those notifications for new messages and the notification subject didn’t tell you who sent the message?

Now, you see the name of the advertiser that sent you that message in the notification subject, for easier filtering and tagging.

• You generate sales that have lots of products and don’t see all of them in commission’s description?

We’ve upgraded the number of characters that we receive through our tracking event so now you can see lots more and you can better analyse and understand the patern that clients are generating.

For advertisers

• You had an international affiliate program and couldn’t charge it through bank transfer?

From now on, international advertiser (who pay us in EURO) can now pay through bank transfer. To do that, go to Billing -> Instant Payment, select Deposit amount and click Show Available Payment Methods! and choose Pay through bank transfer!

• You know how you wanted to discuss about a certain commission with an affiliate and could only get the commission ID if you downloaded the commissions CSV?

From now on, all advertiser can see the Commission ID in commission details. Until now, advertisers could only se reference ID, which is the sale ID from the advertiser’s platform. Now they can see the commission ID which is the unique ID of each commission givven by the platform. Affiliates only see commission ID so this will enable easier commissions based communication between the two parties advertisers and affiliates.
